Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Operlo ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our websites and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Account and profile data — such as name, email, business name, and credentials you provide when you register or update your profile.
  • Customer Content — information you or your organization enter into the Services (for example customers, jobs, invoices, messages, and files).
  • Usage and device data — such as log data, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and diagnostic information to operate and secure the Services.
  • Communications — when you contact us, we retain those messages and related metadata.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Send service-related notices and, where permitted, product updates
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

3. SMS and messaging

Where the Services support SMS or similar messaging, we process phone numbers and message content as directed by your organization and in accordance with applicable law and our SMS program disclosure. End-customer consent is obtained by the business using Operlo (or as otherwise described in that disclosure), not solely by providing a phone number without agreement to receive messages.

4. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist us (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, or messaging infrastructure), subject to confidentiality and security obligations
  • Legal and safety when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law

We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data and your relationship with us.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object or port data. Contact us to exercise those rights. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. SMS opt-out is handled via the mechanisms described in our SMS program disclosure (for example replying STOP where supported).

8. International transfers

If you access the Services from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email.
